I am so proud to announce that the lovely and amazing Missy Lisa, founder of Ruby Revue, has donated a raffle prize for my St. Baldrick’s shave event! (Please note, this is a post about a burlesque show so consider all links NSFW and do not click if mostly bare breasts and booties will get you fired.)
If you’re in Dallas, you’ve already heard of Ruby Revue, the premier burlesque and variety show. With singing and magic and much more than your average strip tease, these ladies not only perform regularly at the House of Blues and host the annual Dallas Burlesque Festival, but they also teach burlesque and fitness classes at the Ruby Room Studio. Need a little more sexy in your life? (and you know you do…) Ruby Revue is where to get it.
You might be thinking, burlesque and children’s cancer? Really, Alyssa? Yes, really. Ruby Revue is dedicated to not only dance, but supporting the Dallas community.
I worked with Missy Lisa a few years ago and I can tell you that she’s not only talented, she’s a old soul and a true professional. (And the reigning 2013 Miss Viva Las Vegas!) She has worked so hard to get Ruby Revue to the heights it has, and it is only getting bigger and more amazing!
Ruby Revue is generously offering TWO TICKETS to their upcoming show at the House of Blues Dallas on September 14th. To enter, all you need to do is click this link , head to the “Giveaways” tab and like my “Kind of a Mess” Facebook page! There’s no donation necessary to win, though I do ask, with puppy dog eyes, that you click here to read about my donation event for St. Baldrick’s if you haven’t already.
You also have two extra chances to win by tweeting the contest or liking Ruby Revue’s Facebook page and keeping up with all their upcoming events and news! Contest ends September 12th!
Thank you all for your words and support so far, and thank you SO much to Ruby Revue for their generous donation! Even if you don’t enter, make sure to check out Ruby Revue’s website or Facebook page for more photos, info and Ruby Room class schedule!
